With all the programming languages that have been growing so much bigger and getting much wider community in 2021, such as Kotlin, Go, Rust, or Dart, HTML/CSS are still the programming tools that you might need this year. But why?

HTML and CSS are the basics of all programming language. While they are not exactly programming languages, you get clear ideas of a program of a software when you understand how both of these tools work.

HTML is like the bones of a software. Therefore, a program without the structure it would not be neat and would not be visually nice to see.

In real world applications, there are tons of front-end frameworks out there that can be used in making programs that would make HTML not needed anymore. But, even if you don’t use it practically, if you understand HTML, means you understand the basics and fundamentals of a program and that is certainly a good quality for programmers to have.

So, don’t worry if you’re a beginner and wants to start in HTML or CSS, it will always be useful!
